Plymouth, NC
Living History Weekend
Fri., Sat., & Sun...April 19-21

Costumed Confederate and Union  troops, civilians in period dress, songs set to fiddle music while cannon roar, camp food cooking
over open fires....the sights, sounds and smells of history bring to life the everyday experiences of citizens and soldiers in Civil War Plymouth. Plymouth had citizens with both Confederate and Union sympathies, so there's something there for everyone!

Battle re-enactments, Torchlight Tours, period craft demonstrations, discussions by experts on underwater archaeology and Ironclad of the Roanoke author, as well as a "reappearance" of the CSS RAM Albemarle herself!
